Our Programmes
Malaria
Malaria is a major public health concern in Tanzania, with significant morbidity and mortality rates
attributed to the disease. In response to this challenge, the Tanzanian government, in collaboration with
international partners and non-governmental organizations, has implemented various prevention programs
aimed at reducing the burden of malaria within the country.
Africai delights to combact malaria and
eradicate it.
Tanzania’s malaria prevention programs employ a multi-faceted approach that includes IRS,
LLIN distribution, IPTp, community health education, and IVM strategies. By addressing both individual
and environmental factors that contribute to malaria transmission, Tanzania aims to reduce the burden of
the disease and improve the health outcomes of its population. Continued investment in these prevention
efforts, along with strong partnerships and community participation, will be essential in achieving the
goal of malaria elimination in Tanzania.
