

About Me:
Sabato Paul is a young seasoned and experienced professional with over 15 years of experience in different positions and projects both with international organizations and Local organizations. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Sociology and Masters in Public Health from University of Walden (Minneapolis, USA). He joined Marie Stopes International as Regional Project Coordinator for a GBV Project in Iringa & Mbeya ,at Africare Tanzania he served in 2 different projects (1st ) as Regional Capacity Building Officer (2nd ) as Regional Program Coordinator – Global Fund TB/HIV Project in Iringa & Njombe. He worked at Universal College of Africa (UCA) as the Director of Programs, at Médecins Sans Frontières as Program Epidemiologist in DRC North Kivu and at SD Biosensor as Business Development Manager. Throughout his career, he has shown a variety of admirable qualities as professional in Project Coordination, Project Planning & Management, Business Development and Resource Mobilization. He has good experience in managing different donors funded projects like USAID, CDC, Global Fund, Australian AID, CIDA, European Union and UN. Below are some of his competences:
Leadership and administrative skills: He can manage complex task, multi-activity programming, project design and funds control. Played a role as budget holder in different projects whereby he review project budget to ensure that spent is on-track and within the budget line. Actively develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, Government agencies and other relevant actors. Establish and maintain formal partnership with key governmental departments and other NGOs to ensure proper service delivery. He is very competent in Resource Mobilization and Proposal writing.
National Contribution: He participated in developing Gender Base Violence Health Management Guideline, Training Package and Gender policy as National tools to be used by all GBV implementing partners under supervision of MOHSW& USAID. Also, He was a Co – Consultant in developing of Operational Management Guideline of GBV One Stope Centres in Tanzania under supervision of MOHSW& USAID.
TB HIV projects: As a Program Coordinator, He played a role between Global Fund and Ministry of Health to adopt the proposed module to implement the integration of TB/HIV services in the selected program priority regions. He has experience in coordinating TB/HIV integrated service both for community and facility based programs.
